Implants 

If you have spaces where you have lost teeth, you have four choices. 

• Do nothing
• Have a removable prosthesis, or denture
• Have bridgework
• Have implants

Implants are the gold standard. These days they are 98% successful. The implants themselves are titanium "screws" that are tapped into the jaw, and  new porcelain crown/bridgework can subsequently be built on to them.

The first stage of implant treatment here at the Sunninghill Practice is to have a detailed initial assessment. This involves taking x rays, making models of the teeth and taking photographs. A bone density assessment is also made. Following this assessment you will receive a detailed report laying out all the available options, along with costings, and from that you can decide which way you wish to proceed.
