The full smile makeover is achieved using veneers on the visible teeth: usually the front ten, top and bottom. The ceramic technician starts by making the veneers in wax, on a model of the patients teeth, constructing them to precise directions from the dentist. From this a template is made so that when the teeth are prepared in the mouth, temporaries (called provisionals) are fitted which exactly replicate the wax up made by the technician.

The patient then tries these for a while, which gives them an opportunity to say they are happy with them, and so the technician is instructed to finish the real thing. If,however, as often happens, the patient would like some minor alterations to the shape or colour, then this can be achieved by altering the provisionals until everyone is happy.Then we can proceeed to a finish, confident that the outcome will be everything that you the patient wants it to be.
